Northwestern APAC attended this years MAASU Fall Leadership retreat at Miami University. Northwestern students had the opportunity to meet other student leaders from across the Midwest. While the larger MAASU Spring Conference focuses on education, awareness, and organizing, the Fall Leadership retreat focuses on different activities and workshops that help develop a student’s leadership skills on the college campus. Students had multiple opportunities to network amongst other student leaders in the Midwest.
APAC had a fantastic time at MAASU 2013 at the University of Michigan. MAASU (Midwest Asian American Student Union) is a great place to meet inspiring leaders of all ages. Northwestern was able to sponsor 14 students to attend MAASU this year.
